  • Theme Prompt

    “The Distance Between Me and ______”

    You are free to fill in the blank—be it home, my mother, the future, language, a memory, a version of myself, etc. Interpret the theme broadly, metaphorically, or literally.

  • Competition Guidelines

    Eligibility

    Open to all high school students

    (Grades 9–12) worldwide

    Submission Categories

    Poetry – Single poem or a short series; recommended length: max 40 lines

    Prose / Personal Essay – 500 to 1,200 words

    Short Fiction – 600 to 1,500 words (short stories preferred)

    Dramatic Monologue/Dialogic Script Excerpt – Up to 2 characters; max 1,200 words

    Submission Rules

    - All submissions must be written in English and be entirely original.

    - All entries must be original and not generated or translated by AI

    - Each participant may submit up to two entries total (one per category maximum)
